 I believe that Wizkid and Asake has watched the video trending online where Blackface alleged that Wizkid's song titles "Ginger " belongs to him. He also made similar accusations against Asake for taking some verses from his song. Blackface granted the interview at Naija FM 92.7  Port Harcourt. It is not a good habits to copy some verses from a song dropped by an OG like Blackface without acknowledging him and also compensate him monetarily. As an artist, you supposed to treat others as you would like others to treat you. How would you feel if someone copied your song and redo the song and then claim ownership of the song? No wonder some people believes that Wizkid is an overated artist. Among all the songs he has dropped , he doesn't have more than five hit songs among them all.  A Nigerian artist will hear a foreign hit song taking over Lagos and say, "this is fire, how can I make music to sound this good?" Then he goes and makes something as hard to overthrow the foreign song. A Ghanaian, Kenyan or Cameroonian artist will hear a foreign hit song taking over their cities, and instead of learning and improving their craft, they'll start crying in interviews that the reason  their music isn't doing as well is because the local DJs are playing the foreign song.  10 years later, that Nigerian artist has become a global phenomenon with the extra artistic growth.  While his African counterpart is still granting interviews saying that foreign song is what is stifling his career advancement.  🔴 HMMMMM 🔴 So after Cameroonian artiste Libianca defeats Nigerian artiste Asake to win the “Viewers Choice Best New International Act” at the BET, some Nigerians are claiming not to have ever heard her music. Libianca featured Ayra Star and Omah Lay in her widely acclaimed “People” remix. Some Nigerians are seriously living under a rock.  A Libianca fan writes: “Honestly Libianca’s “People” is bigger than all Asake’s songs combined. He sings mostly in Yoruba while Libianca sings in English. You can’t compare the two, one is local and the other international.” Btw this isn’t the first time a Cameroonian is defeating a Nigerian in an International award. In 2014, Stanley Enow won the “Breakthrough Act” at the MAMAs (MTV Africa Music Awards) over Burna Boy.  Safe to say history keeps repeating itself.
